FAQ
- What happens when I hit my monthly cap?
- We’ll let you know in the dashboard and the extension. You can choose to continue with metered overages (text $0.10/check, video $0.20/min, meeting $0.10/min) or upgrade to the next tier. Nothing is charged automatically until you confirm one of those two paths.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel from the Billing page in two clicks (or from the receipt email Paddle sends). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then.
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Gotcha is a paid product. We offer a 3-day trial of any tier so you can confirm it works for your reading volume before you commit. The trial requires a card on file and is capped at $1 of usage.
- What does Paddle handle?
- Paddle is our merchant of record: checkout, payment methods, sales tax / VAT, invoices, and refunds all flow through them. Your billing details never touch our servers.
- How do refunds work?
- Full refunds within 7 days of your first paid charge, no questions asked. After that, renewals are non-refundable except for billing errors, unauthorized charges, or material service outages. Full terms on the Refund Policy.
